Actress Angela Bassett recently made her feelings known about the infamous O.J. Simpson trial circa 1994 -- currently the subject of a television series on the FX network.

"The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" began airing this month on FX. You can see it on Tuesday nights or catch it online at fxnetworks.com.

FX says the 10-episode series is the final word on what really happened when football legend O.J. Simpson was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and waiter, Ronald Goldman.

The series reportedly includes details that have never been revealed before.

Bassett's husband, actor Courtney B. Vance stars as Johnnie Cochran in the series. The actress shared with Closer Weekly her real opinion on the famous O.J. scandal .

“Yeah, I think O.J. did it,” Angela admits to Closer. “But what’s most important are those lives that were lost in that senseless, reckless, violent way and the young children who lost their mother," she said. “My best wishes are for their comfort.”
