The 25th season performance finale of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" will be pushed back next Monday night for the Atlanta Falcons "Monday Night Football" game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The sturdy reality show is scheduled to air instead at about 2 a.m. early Tuesday morning. The four finalists vying for the mirror-ball trophy are singer Lindsey Stirling, "Hamilton" actor Jordan Fisher, "Malcolm in the Middle" actor Frankie Muniz and "Property Brothers" man Drew Scott. (Oddmakers are split between Stirling and Fisher to win.)

Although ESPN airs "Monday Night Football," those games are offered to local broadcast affiliates of the home teams for viewers who do not subscribe to ESPN. WSB-TV won the bid to pick up the game two years ago so the ABC affiliate did not know it would land on this particular night.

"We apologize to the dedicated fans of 'Dancing with the Stars' for the interruption of the show's final competition," said Tim McVay, Vice President and General Manager for Channel 2.

On the bright side, the two-hour season finale will air on Tuesday at 9 p.m. live when the winner will be named.

The new hit show "The Good Doctor," which normally airs Mondays at 10 p.m., will run at 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22.

WSB-TV and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution are both part of Cox Media Group.
