Bravo's Andy Cohen has no shame recycling former "Real Housewives" members into the fold when need be.
He brought Bethenny Frankel back to infuse "The Real Housewives of New York" franchise this season with a fresh kick.
Now with NeNe Leakes leaving "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," the show is sampling different women for consideration to fill openings. Among the rumored names include former "Facts of Life" star Kim Fields, who is married with two kids.
Last Friday, when Cynthia Bailey was hosting a party for a new eye-wear line that was taped for the show, photos of former cast member Sheree Whitfield mixing with the cast popped up.
Yup. Sheree "Don't Check Me Boo" has returned on screen for the first time since she was cut after season four. Does this mean she has a full-time gig yet? Not necessarily.
Only four people are certain to be back as full-time cast members season 8 that I know of: Kenya Moore, Cynthia, Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss. Claudia Jordan and Porsha Williams are still up in the air though Claudia's status is clearly getting murkier. In an exclusive photo posted to PerezHilton, Claudia is nowhere in sight but Porsha is. (And ugh: Marlo Hampton, who popped up as a recurring guest season four was at the party, too.)
Since Sheree left, the show had added the dynamic, ratings-boosting Kenya, who led the show to its best ratings ever. The two have not crossed paths before on TV so that duo could create a fresh dynamic if Bravo chooses to keep Sheree around for the season in either a guest role or regular role.
Over the past few years, Sheree has occasionally shown up on other reality shows, including "Iyana: Fix My Life" on OWN in 2013 and the now cancelled "Millionaire Matchmaker" on Bravo earlier this year. Based on her behavior on both shows, Sheree has serious trust issues since her divorce with Bob Whitfield several years back. And she was unable to leverage her time on "Real Housewives" into business the way Kandi, Cynthia and NeNe have.
