The first dancer eliminated was an easy pick: track star Lolo Jones, who tanked Monday night and readily admitted her stiff, awkward performance was an embarrassment. As a competitive athlete, she is going to kicking herself for a long time.

The weirdness of her being a 32-year-old virgin and hasn't slow danced since high school probably didn't garner her a lot of sympathy votes.

Lolo accepted the decision with grace. She knew it was coming.

Surprisingly, Jones didn't have the lowest judges' scores. That would go to Betsey Johnson, but she was certain to survive. Her esprit de corps was incredible.

"Dancing With the Stars" producers don't always place the lowest vote getters "in jeopardy." I mean, Lea Thompson? Really? She was great!

Michael Waltrip and Betsey were also  "in jeopardy," whatever that means.

I was wrong yesterday. It appears ABC is giving "Dancing With the Stars" a results show the first two weeks. Starting Sept. 30, two sitcoms will fill the 8 p.m slot Tuesday.
