Wendy Williams has cancelled an Atlanta tour date Sept. 7 at Atlanta Symphony Hall where she had planned to dish the dirt on her own recent travails.

The ASO, on its website, posted a statement from Williams' staff that said "the same excitement, intensity and headlines that fueled Wendy Williams and Friends presents For The Record Umm Hmmm Comedy Tour has also fueled the cancellation of the scheduled show."

Williams’ team said, without specifics: “The goal and purpose of the tour has been sidelined by the headlines.”

The talk-show host also nixed dates in Detroit and Cleveland.

The New York Post's Page Six speculated that low ticket sales may have been to blame.

Last year, Williams did a 10th year anniversary tour and came to Atlanta's Buckhead Theatre - but in that case, the show was free.

This time, she tried to sell tickets priced $40.75 to $90.75.

Williams, whose daily syndicated gossip show airs locally at 11 a.m. on Fox 5, earlier this year entered rehab for drug addiction and is in the middle of an ugly divorce.

TMZ reports that she plans to spend Labor Day weekend partying in Miami with NeNe Leakes and Tamar Braxton.

A representative on her show did not respond to my inquiries regarding the cancellation.
