Over the past four years, there have been a flood of kid-related cooking shows including "Food Network Star Kids," "Kids Baking Championship," "Chopped Junior," "Rachael Ray's Kids Cookoff."
Two of the bigger kid cooking shows are seeking young chefs in Atlanta in the coming weeks.
First up: Bravo's "Top Chef" franchise is seeking contestants for the second season of "Top Chef Junior," airing on Universal Kids, NBCUniversal's network for kids ages 2 to 12.
And the producers are coming to Atlanta seeking contestants ages 9 to 13 on Wednesday, December 13. It will be held at the Georgian Terrace from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Currently in its inaugural season, "Top Chef Junior" airs Friday nights at 8 p.m. with the winner grabbing $50,000. Vanessa Lachey and Curtis Stone host.

The original "Top Chef" returned for its 15th season Thursday night, December 7, on Bravo at 10 p.m. with no Atlanta residents competing. In fact, this season - set in Colorado - has no Southerners at all.

If that doesn't work out, you can try out for Fox's "Masterchef Junior," which comes to the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta at 75 14th St. NE, Atlanta on Saturday, January 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This will be the sixth season for the show, which debuted in 2013 and features Gordon Ramsay, like several other Fox cooking shows. Joe Bastianich and Christina Tosi are the other judges.
