TLC is bringing back "Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta" after what will ultimately be a two-year hiatus.

The network has been taping episodes at B ridals by Lori in Sandy Springs since May and new episodes will begin airing in 2018, according to owner Lori Allen.

The last new episode that aired on TLC was in February, 2016. The show was part of the early flow of unscripted TV shows in metro Atlanta after tax credits were sweetened in 2008. The spin0off of the original 'Say Yes to the Dress" set in New York debuted in 2010 and featured nine seasons and 155 episodes, plus four more of a bridesmaids edition.

TLC used to air all its bridal shows on Friday nights. That's not the case anymore. But the network still airs repeats, usually during the morning. Several episodes from season five are scheduled for this Sunday morning.

Georgia's film office added the show to its production list this week.
