Georgia Public Broadcasting has not officially released a schedule yet but GPB's head of radio programming Tanya Ott gave Creative Loafing a preview the day before last week's surprise four-week delay. GPB was supposed to take over the daytime programming on 88.5/WRAS-FM this past Monday but pushed it back until June 30 after an outcry by listeners, students and WRAS alum following the surprise May 6 announcement.

At the time, GPB president Teya Ryan told me only that "All Things Considered" and "Morning Edition" were guaranteed to air, plus a show called "The Takeaway."

In mid-May, GPB sent out press releases announcing two local shows planned for WRAS: a weekday one-hour show hosted by NPR's Celeste Headlee  and a weekend show hosted by Bill Nigut that will be a companion to the daily TV show "On the Story."

Here's what Ott told the CL will be the weekday schedule, starting June 30 instead of June 2. The students will have control of the station from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The programming is a mix of shows you can already hear on 90.1/WABE-FM and some you can't because WABE plays classical music from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

5 a.m. to 10 a.m.: "Morning Edition" until the fall, when Celeste Headlee's new local show will air from 9 to 10 a.m. "Morning Edition" will then air from 5 to 9 a.m. The program already airs from 5 to 9 a.m. on WABE-FM.

10 a.m. to noon: "On Point" with Tom Ashbrook" (From the show's site:  "The show's lively conversation covers everything from breaking news to ancient poetry, and features writers, politicians, journalists, artists, scientists and ordinary citizens from around the world."

noon to 1 p.m.: "The Takeaway" with John Hockenberry and Adaora Udoji (How the show is described on its site: "an hour-long national news program that delivers the news and analysis you need to catch up, start your day, and prepare for what's ahead.")

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. "Here and Now" with Robin Young and Jeremy Hobson (How it's described on the NPR site: "Here & Now reflects the fluid world of news as it's happening in the middle of the day, with timely, smart and in-depth news, interviews and conversation.")

3 p.m. to 4 p.m. "Fresh Air" (heard on WABE at 7 p.m.) Monday through Thursday and "Science Friday" on Fridays

4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: "All Things Considered" (heard on WABE)

6:30 to 7 p.m.: "Marketplace" (heard on WABE)

This is not a final, ironclad schedule.

"We've been making some tweaks," said GPB spokeswoman Mandy Wilson, noting that they may add some more local elements.

Here's a proposed Saturday schedule: "Best of Public Radio" at 5 a.m., "Fresh Air Weekend" at 6 a.m., "Only a Game" at 7 a.m., "Weekend Edition" from 8 to 10 a.m., "Car Talk" at 10 a.m., "Wait, Wait Don't Tell me" at 11 a.m., "This American Life" at noon, "Snap Judgment" at 1 p.m., "Moth Radio Hour" at 2 p.m., "Ask Me Another" at 3 pm., "On the Story With Bill Nigut" at 4 p.m., "All Things Considered" at 5 p.m. and "Studio 360" at 6 p.m.
