After 12 years on NBC and a three-year hiatus, “The Biggest Loser” has gained a new network in USA.

The reality competition show is now seeking new contestants who are seeking to lose potentially hundreds of pounds.

In Atlanta, the open call will be at The Pop Up Spot at Atlantic Station on Saturday July 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's at 26 18th St. NW, Suite 10110. You need to apply here whether you go to an open call or submit a video.

According to the press release, there will be a new cast of trainers: “The revamped version of the iconic NBC hit competition series will feature men and women competing to not only lose weight, but to improve their overall well being.”

There are also casting calls in New York/New Jersey, Dallas, Kansas City, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Nashville

The deadline for submitting applications is August 1.

USA is a sister station of NBC. Both are part of NBCUniversal.

Other reality shows have gone away and come back on different networks. “Fear Factor,” after a long run on NBC, has aired on MTV the past couple of years. “America’s Next Top Model” moved from the CW to VH1. “The Real World” - now in Atlanta - migrated from MTV to Facebook Watch.
