Rock 100.5 morning host “Southside” Steve Rickman and his wife Amanda Rickman celebrated the arrival of their second son Thursday.

His name is James Rickman. He was born at 3:20 p.m., weighed 8 pounds and was 21 inches long. “SO sweet and relaxed!” he wrote on his public page. “Knows Mommy & Daddy’s voice... We are so happy!” He finished his note with his signature line: “Yeah C’mon!”

He also thanked the doctor Jeanette D. Leader at Northside Hospital.

Their first son Brooks was born in May 2017. The labor for Brooks took 27 hours, he noted at the time. This time, it took significantly less time.

Rickman has been on Atlanta radio for more than a quarter century, including 88.5/WRAS-FM, 96Rock, Eagle 106.7 and since 2008, Rock 100.5.
