Shonda Rhimes and the trio of women who star in her popular ABC dramas appear in a new commercial endorsing presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

"Scandal's" Kerry Washington , "Grey's Anatomy's" Ellen Pompeo and "How To Get Away with Murder's" Viola Davis appear individually throughout the video, but their message is the same.

“Our characters are on television,” Washington says. “The real world has Hillary Clinton.”

The minute-long campaign ad ends with all four women saying "I'm with Hillary." The video highlights the fact that Washington, Pompeo and Davis all star as strong, complex female character in their respective shows.

Rhimes shared the video on Twitter during an episode of "Grey's Anatomy" with the message "so proud that I am with her because she is with US" on March 10.

"Talk about a power lineup. Thank you for being on this team," Clinton replied.

Earlier this week, Clinton revealed whether or not she would drop out of the presidential race if she faces criminal charges for her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state.
