Curbed Atlanta, which is a great local real estate site, says Norman Reedus, who plays the insanely popular cross-bow using zombie killer Daryl Dixon on "The Walking Dead," said he is selling his pad in Serenbe and seeking more remote (or secure) climes.

Many "Walking Dead" actors choose to live in town but Reedus, given his obsessive fans, would understandably prefer a little privacy.

Cable's most popular show, which airs the season five finale this Sunday, is not returning for production for season six for a few more weeks. Based on the photos from this real estate site, he is already long gone.

Reedus does not have his name on the three-story property in question, Atlanta Curbed noted, possibly for privacy reasons. (UPDATE; 4/25. It's also possible he was merely renting the place. He told the Wrap it was not his place. The space is for sale for $585,000 and it's gorgeous in a modern sense.

Resale CONTEMPORARY cottage: 3BR/3.5Ba; soaring open spaces leading to decks and balconies at front, side and rear of this spectacular home. Very private master suite on the rear of home overlooks a wildflower meadow; secondary bedrooms upstairs and on the basement level each have private baths; main floor kitchen/dining/living flows beautifully and out to the swimming pool just steps away. Covered parking and a spacious back yard are accessed from a rear alley. Steps from shopping but elevated from street for privacy.

What is Serenbe? According to this real estate website, it's a "progressive community connected to nature on the edge of Atlanta." It's on the south side of metro Atlanta in Palmetto.

Fans have gotten pictures with him in the area like this dude. And this woman. And this guy. Reedus fans gab about the house here.  And as Curbed noted, the Twitter page for Serenbe follows Reedus.

A source told me he lived there at least three years before fans started figuring it out and began bugging him.
