Power 96.1 morning host Riley Couture announced today on the radio and on Instagram that she is three months pregnant.
Couture, who joined the station last year with co-host Scotty K, is due in October.
She made the announcement the day after Mother's Day. She had recently flew to Paris to tell her mom and sister. "It's not real to me until I talk about it on air," she said, admitting nerves. She said she has announced engagements and broken engagements and tattoo stories. Now this: "My biggest thing on my bucket list was that I wanted to be a mom. Guys, I'm pregnant!"
Couture, who is not married, provided no details on who the father is. "I am ready for it," she said on air tearfully. "I'm excited. I hope and pray every day that I can be the best mom ever."
