People magazine reports that Ed Hartwell is seeking a paternity test to ensure his wife Keshia Knight Pulliam's baby is his.

The former NFL player has no clear evidence she cheated on him but he found the timing of the pregnancy curious, the magazine said, citing an unnamed source.

"It's just that he had told her he wanted to wait before having a baby and things got really bad between them and then she pops up pregnant," the source told People.

Knight Pulliam, best known for playing Rudy on "The Cosby Show" three decades ago, married Hartwell earlier this year. She announced her pregnancy earlier this month on social media. Then Hartwell surprised the world with his divorce complaint filing on Monday in Fulton County Superior Court.

Hartwell was seen on the first two season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" when he was married to Lisa Wu. They divorced after she left the show.
