According to Us Weekly, ousted "Scandal" actor Columbus Short is hosting a "Scandal" debut Thursday night at Boogalou Lounge in the Fourth Ward off Ponce de Leon Ave. the club opened this past spring. It posted this promo poster above.

Short's character Harrison Wright was last seen shot and dying during the season finale and it appears he will be very much dead by tonight's episode. But he clearly is riding on his notoriety by having a party. Surely there will be quite a crowd there tonight so arrive early.

His own life could use a fixer like Olivia Pope. He was charged earlier this year with misdemeanor spousal battery and told to stay away from wife Tuere Short, who later filed for divorce. A few weeks later, he was arrested again, this time for a felony battery charge after getting into a fight in a restaurant.

His "Scandal" character was arguably the most under-used of all the Gladiators on the addictive ABC show.

Short has been doing radio interviews, including Majic 107.5/97.5, V-103 and Rickey Smiley's morning show. He also dished on "Dish Nation."

He blames TMZ for maligning him unfairly:

“My character has been assassinated, unjustly,” Short told Dish Nation. "I feel like, Harvey Levin got the proverbial hard-on for me or something because he was attacking me for no reason. What I found out, you know how it goes, these stories get money… TMZ is making all that money, but it’s blood money to me. I really believe it, because you’re destroying people’s families.”

“TMZ being the judge and jury and the executioner of somebody’s career is ridiculous to me.”

TV preview
