"Nephew Tommy" Miles provides voices and an extra dash of humor to Steve Harvey's morning radio show, especially his signature prank calls.

But the Atlanta-based comic is deadly serious when it comes veterans and their health. He has been on two USA tours and decided to give back by starting a golf tournament to raise money for injured vets called Miles of Giving. It's at Stone Mountain Golf Club Monday, Sept. 29 starting at 9:30 a.m. (You can sign up here and tee time is 11 a.m.)

"I wanted to give these vets cash upfront," said Miles.

Last year, he held it at Chateau Elan and grossed enough to help out a handful of vets. "It was a good start," he said, "but I'm hoping to build it up more. I"m reaching out for more sponsorships."

His co-hosts Carla and Shirley Strawberry will be there but Harvey is busy shooting his TV show. Miles hopes Harvey will at least sponsor a hole.
