TMZ reports that NeNe Leakes can't join "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" trip to the Philippines for the show, which typically has the ladies travel overseas at least once during the season.

A year ago, she landed in the hospital due to potentially life-threatening blood clots in her lungs. She has problems when she spends too much time in an airplane so the long trip to the Philippines could cause her serious health issues.

The other ladies on the show are overseas now taping what will likely be the climactic season-ending dramatics, whatever that may entail. We likely won't see the trip on Bravo until early next year. The season starts Nov. 9 showing happenings from four months earlier.

Leakes is prepping for her month-long role in Broadway's "Cinderella."
