While we don’t know for sure since Netflix is so tight with such info, there is no shortage of evidence that “Stranger Things” is one of its top two or three shows in terms of popularity.

They released their first detailed trailer for season 3 Wednesday and it reached nearly 10 million views by the end of the day.

Season 3 debuts July 4 and opens around June of 1985, culminating presumably on July 4. It was shot around metro Atlanta last year.

The trailer opens with Motley Crue's 1985 hit "Home Sweet Home" and some toys coming alive, much to Dustin's chagrin.

"We're not kids anymore," said Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) in a voiceover while the Who's "Baba O'Riley" played in the background. "I mean, what did you think? We're just going to sit in my basement all day playing games the rest of our lives?"

Indeed, Mike is now dating Eleven(Millie Bobbie Brown) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink) are a couple as well.

The Starcourt Mall (Gwinnett Place Mall in disguise) gets a few seconds, as do David Harbour and Winona Ryder and the newest crazy-looking monster from the Upside Down.
