Less than three months ago, CJ Lusk moved from Kicks 101.5 afternoons to mornings, joining Cadillac Jack and Ali Mac.

But suddenly this week, he's gone from the station with no explanation.

He joined Kicks in early 2016 for afternoons, replacing Jenn Hobby, who is now on mornings with Star 94.1. He previously worked in Memphis, Portland and Charlotte.

On Twitter, Cadillac Jack confirmed his departure but declined to say why to a fan.

I haven't heard back from program director Scott Lindy if he plans to replace Lusk or just keep mornings with Cadillac and Ali Mac.

Lusk has not posted anything on his Twitter account since September 7 or Facebook since August 30. Whatever his reasons for leaving, he's keeping to himself for now.

UPDATE: He added this Bible verse (Romans 15:13) September 24 on Twitter with no comment:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
