A strange week indeed. Joseline Hernandez avoids a fight instead of picks one. Stevie J is short on swagger and borderline humble (for him). Karlie Redd conjures up a story line. K Michelle and Deb Antney make random cameo appearances. And good news! Nikko is nowhere in sight this week.
Let's summarize the shenanigans.
Failure is not an option: Stevie J last week missed his drug test so now he is off to required drug rehab for 30 days.
"This is turning me cold," he says, looking unusually sad. Joseline gives him a tender kiss farewell. "Stevie J signing off. This is not good bye. I will see you later and I will be much greater."
Pay up or jail up: Erica ponders placing Lil Scrappy to jail for not paying $45,000 plus in back child support. "It hurts my heart it's even got to this point." This plotline will clearly rear its ugly head later.
That dude ain't loyal: Yung Joc is a player. Cheshire Cat Khadiyah knows that. Baby mama Sina does too. But they both love the player. Sina wants him back and wants Khadiyah out of the picture. They meet up. Sina tells her that Yung Joc is sleeping with her. Cheshire Cat just smiles. "He's claiming he's not sleeping with you. Do you have proof?" Cheshire Cat says. Sina doesn't. But that gives her an "idea." (These producers are so creative!) Sina secretly tapes Yung Joc and her having sex because that's "proof," right? This show never minds a sex tape or two.
Mad Mimi and a "changed" Joseline: Stevie J, before he left for drug rehab, asked Mimi to meet with Joseline so Joseline could supposedly apologize for hitting her at the reunion show.
Joseline, in the meantime, claims she's a "changed woman" to Karlie. She won't use her fists if she gets mad, she promises.
But when she arrives to see Mimi (a request Stevie J had asked Joseline as well to nonsensically talk about wedding plans), things don't go well. Joseline refuses to apologize for anything. With not a scintilla of humbleness, Joseline takes no responsibility for her own mistakes, even denying she ever hit Mimi. (What? She hadn't seen the video?)
""When did I put my hands on you?" Joseline asks with a straight face.
Instead of going full Hulk, she is just mean ol' Joseline.
Mimi, frustrated by Joseline's lack of self awareness, walks out in a huff.
Karlie finds a storyline! Karlie opens Merci, a clothing boutique at Stonecrest Mall. She holds an opening party but she partnered with a woman named Nyisha instead of Erica. Erica is upset because Karlie didn't bother telling her. So Erica with Rasheeda arrive at the party to yell at Karlie.
"That's foul," says Rasheeda.
"It's shady," says Erica, who knocks over some jewelry on her way out.
Karlie is unbowed. "Let the haters hate," she says.
Cameos: K Michelle pops in as a friend of newcomer Jessica Dime Piece. The former "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" left for New York after season two and had several R&B hits and a short-lived spin-off show. Deb Antney, mom of former cast member Waka Flocka, tells Mimi what an idiot she is for signing a business deal with Nikko Smith for 25 percent of her biography. "This gotta be the dumbest thing evah," Deb says. Her suggestion: Mimi should write a really bad book.
