"Chrisley Knows Best" star Todd Chrisley's oldest daughter Lindsie filed a lawsuit in 2017 in Brookhaven accusing a woman of trying to extort her over an alleged sex tape, according to a police report the AJC procured.
Lindsie reportedly cheated on her husband Will Campbell with two "Bachelorette" stars Robby Hayes and Atlanta's Josh Murray, according to earlier TMZ reports. They separated in 2017 but reconciled in 2018.
In the Brookhaven police report dated January 20, 2017, Lindsie called the police to say a “Ms. Perry” (first name not included) threatened her on January 22, 2017 with releasing a “sexually compromising” tape with Lindsie in it if Lindsie didn’t meet with her.
The alleged perpetrator “never expressed her intentions and did not threaten any physical harm to the Victim,” the report said. “Suspect did tell the Victim that her and her boyfriend were out looking for her. She then told her that if she did not meet her that she has a sexually compromising video of the Victim and would release it to a tabloid.”
Lindsie told the police that this video may have “occurred while she was visiting a friend in Brookhaven... The Victim stated that the Suspect never would state her intent if they did meet or why she wanted to meet. Victim did tell me that the Suspect did in the past hit a mutual friend of theirs.”
Lindsie, 29, was on “Chrisley Knows Best” until the end of season five.
Here is the statement I received from Brookhaven PD:
Ms. Lindsie Chrisley-Campbell contacted the City of Brookhaven Police Department on 01/30/2017 in reference to a female threatening to release a "Sexually compromising" video to the tabloids. Ms. Campbell stated the female never stated her intentions or threatened physical harm during the conversation. The criminal investigations division investigated the incident and identified two possible witnesses who never came forward to give a statement. Based on the lack of intent, witness testimony and investigative leads the case was moved to "inactive" status on 05/01/2017. Since that time, we have not received any further leads to move further on this case.

Lindsie's attorney Musa Ghanayem said she filed this particular case in what was deemed the wrong jurisdiction but it is now being investigated by the feds. This particular so-called "sex tape," he said, is the same one hung over her head when she claimed he was trying to extort her. He said she is just frustrated how slow the case is moving and that it seems like the Feds are more interested in trying to get their unpaid taxes than dealing with this situation.
