Two syndicated judge shows shot at Georgia Public Broadcasting headquarters are coming back for the 2019-20 season: “Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court” and “Couples Court with the Cutlers.”

This will be the seventh season for Lake and sixth season in Atlanta and the third season for the Cutlers.

Both shows have clearance in more than 100 markets and all top 15 markets, including Atlanta. Locally, the show airs on the CW69 affiliate WUPA-TV. “Lake” is on at the 1 p.m. hour with more during the 5 p.m. hour. “Cutlers” air on weekdays at the 9 a.m. hour.

The Cutlers and Lake both lived in Atlanta in the past and now spend several months here to shoot their respective shows.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
