If you want to see Kevin Hart crack jokes up close and personal, he's doing two pop-up shows Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Laughing Skull Lounge at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

The intimate Midtown comedy club holds fewer than 100 people so these tickets will sell out in a heartbeat.

They are on sale now as of 10:25 a.m. for $30 a piece. (Tickets here)

The actor is obviously not interested in watching the Oscars, which is airing at the same time. He was originally going to be host last year but after some controversial tweets about gay people popped up from the past, the Academy dropped him. He later apologized and even did a Netflix docuseries about it.

Hart is in town shooting his comedic Quibi streaming show "Die Hart" with John Travolta. The scripted show is about Hart trying to become an action hero and joining a school run by Travolta's character.

Hart has shot several movies in Atlanta including the two “Ride Along” movies, “Night School,” “Think Like a Man” and two “Jumanji” films.

He has performed at State Farm Arena (previously Philips) multiple times.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
