On Friday, September 1, Joy 93.3 will expand to Macon on 102.1.

Currently, the Macon station is playing Christian contemporary music through K-Love. The new line-up will feature the Morning Cruise with Dave Cruse, Bill Martin and Carmen Brown, the existing Joy 93.3 morning team. (The morning team comes out of Sarasota.)

For more than three decades, Joy 93.3 has been serving the southside of metro Atlanta but this will strengthen their presence in the Macon area. Mid-days features Jerry Williams, Jayar does late afternoons and Paige Long DJs evenings.

"We are excited by this expansion into the Macon and Warner Robins area," said the network's president Jim Campbell. This "opens the door to better serve longtime listeners in the area and will enable the Joy FM to reach many new listeners."

Joy is a network of non-commercial, listener-supported contemporary Christian music stations serving metro Atlanta, west Georgia, Columbus and parts of Alabama and Florida since 1986.

The station pulls in about 300,000 weekly listeners in metro Atlanta.
