Atlanta has been used as a setting for Midwestern towns before such as ABC’s “Resurrection.” Now it’s literally being used for the pilot of a possible Hulu show called “Kansas City.”

The premise takes on the idea that the right/left divide in the United States has become so stark, Kansas City in the future splits into two with a Berlin-style Wall. (Yes, they build a wall!)

Families are separated, and the flow of information between the two sides struggles under the weight of the enmity between the two factions, according to Hulu.

They were recently casting for high school students for the pilot, according to Backstage.com.

Kansas City Reddit readers are not too excited by the concept.
