Gov. Nathan Deal has been a huge supporter of the production tax credits that have turned Georgia into one of the biggest homes for film and TV shows in recent years.

But it was still amusing to see Deal rubbing elbows with "The Walking Dead" actor Norman Reedus on Friday at the Georgia State Capitol, which is masquerading as a museum for season nine of the show. (The show has long left Georgia and is now in the D.C. metro area in a fictional sense.) Yes, that's Daryl Dixon with Deal in his Twitter feed. Question: how would Deal fare in the zombie apocalypse?

Comicbook.com surmises that "The Walking Dead" has jumped at least two years from season eight.
