Meteorologist Markina Brown, who voluntarily left CBS46 after four years in late 2014, has landed a job at the CBS affiliate KCBS-TV in Los Angeles.

Based on what's available online, it appears to be a weekend meteorology gig. I left a text with her seeking more information.

She moved to Hollywood from Atlanta to pursue an acting career but her credits have been light so far, based on her imdb.com resume.

Brown worked at CW-affiliated KTLA-TV in Los Angeles before she came to Atlanta in 2010. She has also worked at TV stations in Cleveland, Chicago, St. Louis and Lansing, Mich. in the past.

She has been receiving plaudits from Twitter as fans have noticed her return to the L.A. TV airwaves:
