Demetria McKinney, an Atlanta singer and actress who has appeared on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," is engaged to Roger Bobb, a TV producer who was one Tyler Perry's right-hand man.

The couple has been dating for several years. At the "Growing Up Hip Hop" screening party red carpet, she showed off the ring.

McKinney was a recurring cast member on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season seven but her storyline clearly didn't excite the producers because she practically disappeared by the end of the year. This season, she popped up again to do a duet with a very pregnant Kandi Burruss called "Unnecessary Trouble."

And she stopped by to say hi to Kandi and her new baby this week.

Here was her original announcement earlier this week.

Bobb runs Bobbcat Films produces TV One's "Rickey Smiley For Real" and BET's "It's a Mann's World." He started the company in 2011.
