Not a lot of people outside of the entertainment world cares much about the Primetime Emmy Awards. So you can imagine how little the Daytime Awards resonates.

There isn't even a television network committed to airing the ceremony June 22.  (Last year, Atlanta-based HLN aired it.)

But here are some Atlanta-connected nominations I was able to figure out:

"The American Bible Challenge" (hosted by Alpharetta's Jeff Foxworthy) is nominated for best game show against "The Chase," "Let's Make a Deal," "Wheel of Fortune,' "Jeopardy" and "The Price is Right." Foxworthy was nominated as best game show against Wayne Brady on "Lets Make a Deal," Todd Newton of "Family Game Night" and part-time Atlantan Steve Harvey on "Family Feud," which is shot in Atlanta.

Outstanding Lifestyle Show includes HGTV's Atlanta-based "Elbow Room" against "American Now" (syndicated), "Home & Family" (Hallmark), "Home Made Simple" (OWN) and "This Old House' (PBS).

CNN's Sanjay Gupta's weekend show is nominated for best entertainment news program against several shows, including "Access Hollywood," "TMZ" and OWN's "Super Soul Sunday."

Atlanta native Chandler Massey, son of former Secretary of State Lewis Massey, is nominated for best younger actor in a drama series as Will Horton in "Days of Our Lives." He has won twice before.
