Atlanta-based HLN is going to start airing movies with panels to talk about said film in a feature called "News and a Movie." The first one will be Thursday featuring the Denzel Washington historical Civil War film "Glory" from 1989.

According to TVNewser, "News and a Movie" will be hosted by actress Holly Robinson Peete and CNN legal analyst Sunny Hostin, with feature segments by "Daily Share" correspondent Rocsi Diaz.

Next month's feature will be 1985's Val Kilmer classic "Real Genius."

Sister station TBS used to do something similar called "Dinner and a Movie" from 1996 to 2011 where hosts would cook a meal tied to the film. My favorite hosts were the early ones featuring Paul Gilmartin and Annabelle Gurwitz from 1996 to 2002.

I'm fairly certainly HLN has never aired films before. The Weather Channel tried films in 2009 but abandoned ship relatively quickly.

In its first unusual promotion since Jason Bailey joined the Rock 100.5 morning show in December, the crew has decided to "celebrate" Valentine's Day by paying for a couple's divorce. How romantic!

They don't want this to be complicated so if you have kids, you're out. Rather, they are requesting an uncontested divorce of which they are willing to pay up to $1,500 in legal costs. (I had a simple uncontested divorce in 2008 and it cost me about $2,000.)

If you qualify and want to sign on, contact producer Sebastian "Sebas" Davis at Sebastian.Davis@cumulus.com or 404-497-4700. The show may interview you on air next week before naming the winner Friday, Feb. 13. He said he has received several dozen to sift through already.

Ken Cook recently responded to a query on his public Facebook page from a listener who didn't like the hiring of David Chandley as his replacement after Cook's retirement last summer as Fox 5's chief meteorologist. I don't know if this is necessarily a diss on Chandley. Rather, he basically supported one of his former colleagues to be chief instead of hiring from outside. That's understandable. He felt he had a good team and he wanted one of his team members to move into his position:

Ken: Louise, I don't know why this was done. Jeff Hill would make an excellent Chief Meteorologist, and maybe he will at another Station in Atlanta. You should post your concerns on the Fox5Atlanta Facebook page. Thank you.
