Fox 5 is adding a rebroadcast of its "Georgia Gang" show at 11:30 p.m. starting this Sunday night. It originally airs at 8:30 a.m. This show is Georgia's longest-running public affairs broadcast.
The same quartet have been discussing local issues for several years: Jeff Dickerson, Phil Kent, Alexis Scott and Dick Williams.
"Glad to know viewers in church who miss it want to see it later!" wrote Kent in an email informing me of the addition.

Georgia resident Myron Mixon returned this month for his fifth season as a judge on Destination America's "BBQ Pitmasters."
Mixon, who lives about two hours south of Atlanta in Unadilla, is the only on-air talent who has been with the show its entire run going back to its days on TLC.
"I got the personality to express my feeling, whether it's good or bad," he said in a recent interview. "They want to be entertained? I can entertain!"
This season was shot in Tampa where three teams from a particular city fight for a $50,000 cash prize from Kingsford Charcoal, and entry into the prestigious Kingsford Invitational.
Since 2005, he holds a weekend school for $750 to teach students the fine art of barbecue grilling. (Details here.) "We get to learn the whole hog from shoulders to Boston butts. We do brisket, baby back ribs, chicken sauces. We do rubs. It's all hands on," he said. The next school with openings is June. (May is sold out.)
"We have people from all over the country and the world," he said. "I've had people from Dubai, Thailand and Hong Kong. Only 10 percent of my class is from Georgia."
Mixon's barbecue history goes back to age nine with his dad. "Every time I light a fire to cook meat," he said, "it reminds me of my dad, who died in 1996." They owned a store that did takeout barbecue. They started a sauce company and he's been involved in the barbecue world ever since.
He has been competing professionally since 1996 and was able to pay the bills from prize money for a decade. He said competitive grilling is bigger than it's ever been but so is casual grilling.
"It's a lifestyle," Mixon said. "It's about being outside and being with the family and being social with the friends. The barbecue pit and smokers are the centerpiece."
He also learned patience from the grill, learned how to fix things on the go. "It's not just barbecue but thinking about life. Everything isn't always roses. When it isn't, you gotta fix it."

USA finally gave its Atlanta-based drama starring Matt Passmore a name: "Satisfaction." It debuts July 17 and begins production next month at EUE Screen Gems, where USA's "Necessary Roughness" (cancelled last year) shot for three seasons.
Here's how USA describes the program:
A provocative drama that explores modern marriage at its midpoint. Through the lens of one couple, Neil Truman (Matt Passmore, "The Glades") and his wife, Grace (Stephanie Szostak, "The Devil Wears Prada"), this series answers the question, "What do you do when having it all is not enough?" by delving into their shocking and unconventional choices. Michelle DeShon ("Hollywood Heights"), Katherine LaNasa ("The Campaign") and Blair Redford ("Switched at Birth") also star. SATISFACTION is from Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and executive producer/creator Sean Jablonski (SUITS, "Nip Tuck"). Russ Krasnoff ("Community") of Krasnoff/Foster also serves as executive producer. The series is set to film in Atlanta, Georgia.

And if you were wondering if that Amazon Prime membership (up to $99 from $79 this month) is worth it, the company has added many HBO series, mostly their older stuff such as "The Wire," "The Sopranos," "Big Love," "Deadwood" and "Six Feet Under." Earlier seasons of "True Blood" and "Boardwalk Empire" will be made available, too. But there will be no "True Detective" or "Game of Thrones." You'll have to have a regular HBO subscription for those. Also, some shows are tied up with syndication rights such as "Sex and the City," "Entourage" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." More details here.
