BET is resurrecting its gospel music reality competition show “Sunday Best.”

Production is about to start in Atlanta, where the show has been primarily shot over the years. It aired nine seasons from 2007 to 2015.

Kirk Franklin will be the host again. The judges are R&B star and "American Soul" actress Kelly Price, gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds and returnee Erica Campbell, reality star, gospel singer and radio host.

Auditions happened in Atlanta in February so odds are pretty solid some of the contestants will be local.

For the first time the contestants were able to use an online submissions process. There will be live auditions with the judges in Dallas, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Detroit, Lagos, Nigeria and for the first time-ever London and Johannesburg, which were open to select international contestants.
