The most anticipated new series this week is AMC's "Better Call Saul," the prequel to "Breaking Bad." It debuts Sunday after the return of "The Walking Dead' from winter break.
Reviews have been more positive than negative, with metacritic's consolidated grade at 72 out of 100.
CBS airs the Grammys on Sunday with duet pairings such as Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, Jessie J with Tom Jones, Hozier and Annie Lennox and Adam Levine with Gwen Stefani.
ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" arrives Wednesday with the weight of high expectations as the first show with a primarily Asian American cast since "All American Girl" more than two decades ago.
John Oliver comes back for his second season of "Last Week Tonight" after a critically acclaimed first season. BET, too, brings back its most touted drama to date "Being Mary Jane" for a second season Tuesday.
And NBC tries to get in the espionage game with "Allegiance" Thursday, which seems suspiciously like an attempt to piggyback FX's 'The Americans."
