Shonda Rimes is still with ABC for now and her latest show, a spin off of "Grey's Anatomy," debuts Thursday. Called "Station 19," it's about firefighters.
FX is also introducing a new series about the Getty family called "Trust" starring Donald Sutherland and Hilary Swank.
Season finales include Fox's "The X-Files," FX's "American Crime Story," ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat," ABC's "Speechless," Fox's "9-1-1" and A&E's "60 Days In," which was shot at the Fulton County Jail.
Shows returning include Showtime's "Billions," HBO's "Silicon Valley," "WE-TV's "Braxton Family Values," Netflix's "Santa Clarita Diet" and VH1's "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta."
There is one series finale: IFC's "Portlandia" after eight seasons.

MONDAY
"American Idol" 8 p.m. Fox — Auditions continue.
"The Voice" 8 p.m. NBC — Battle rounds begin.
"Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" 8 p.m. VH1 (seventh season debut) — Kirk and Rasheeda deal with the long-awaited DNA test results. Stevie clashes with Estelita and tries to replace her with a new first lady of Danger Zone. A new face in the A causes a splash on the scene.
"The Resident" 9 p.m. Fox — Nic and Conrad decide to admit a homeless Jane Doe, whom they suspect was dumped off by another hospital.
"The Alienist" 9 p.m. TNT — Kreizler mourns the loss of a friend. Sara pushes the team to forge ahead.
"Scorpion" 10 p.m. CBS — Team Scorpion heads to the bayou to track down a cagey alligator in order to stop a deadly mosquito-borne virus.
"The Good Doctor" 10 p.m. ABC — Dr. Shaun Murphy questions the need for an elective surgery that will allow his young patient to smile for the first time.
"Good Girls" 10:01 p.m. NBC — Beth gets an unwanted visitor in her home.
TUESDAY
"The Middle" 8 p.m. ABC — It's the Orson showdown of the century when the Hecks—along with the Donahues and Bill Norwood—wage a war against the Glossners after they steal Sue's car.
"Fresh Off the Boat" 8:30 p.m. ABC (fourth season finale) — Honey plans a relaxing vacation before the baby comes, but Jessica turns the trip into a crazy quest to get Stephen King's endorsement for her novel.
"Black Lightning" 9 p.m. the CW —In the aftermath of the latest killing, Black Lightning works to clear his name while also hunting down the person responsible for his father's death.
"Black-ish" 9 p.m. ABC— Dre reluctantly helps Junior plan Pops' 65th birthday party and starts to see his dad's past in a new light.
"Rise" 9:01 p.m. NBC (new time slot) — Lou is brought down to Earth when his production budget is slashed.
"Chicago Med" 10 p.m. NBC — Upon hearing news of a pregnant teen, Dr. Manning and Dr. Choi venture to a homeless encampment to help deliver a baby under dire circumstances.
"For the People" 10 p.m. ABC— The six young lawyers are even more determined to bring home wins and prove they are worthy of the Mother Court, as they tackle their second round of cases..
"Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and Biggie Smalls" 10 p.m. USA — The Task Force tracks down a person of interest.
WEDNESDAY
"The X-Files" 8 p.m. Fox (11th season finale) — Mulder and Scully rush to find an on-the-run William.
"The Last Days of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr." 8 p.m. WSB-TV — The Atlanta station used its extensive archive of reports on Dr. King and the civil rights movement to take present day viewers back to that tragic time in history.
"Speechless" 8:30 p.m. ABC (second season finale) — JJ travels to a film festival where he's been nominated for an award but is upset when he learns the real reason he's being honored.
"Law & Order: SVU" 9 p.m. NBC — When a student disappears during a school trip to New York City, the cops race to find a mysterious masked man.
"Modern Family" 9 p.m. ABC — The family goes on a wine-tasting trip and stays in Haley's new boss' country house where the only rule is: Don't touch the tiara.
"9-1-1" 9 p.m. Fox (first season finale) — The first responders take calls to help an unusual domestic disturbance, a "death" at a psychic's and a horrific motorcycle crash.
"American Crime Story" 10 p.m. FX (second season finale) — The hunt for spree-killer Andrew Cunanan comes to a frantic end.
"Designated Survivor" 10 p.m. ABC — When a blackout threatens to shut down the government and causes chaos in the streets of Washington, D.C., President Kirkman joins forces with Mayor Ellenor Darby, but the partnership doesn't end there.
"Criminal Minds" 10 p.m. CBS — The BAU is called to Oklahoma to investigate a murderous clown terrorizing the sleepy town of Guymo.
"Krypton" 10 p.m. Syfy (new series) — Seg learns his planet is in danger of being destroyed so that his future grandson will never be born.
THURSDAY
"Innocent" 3:01 a.m. Sundance Now (new series) — The limited series follows David Collins as he returns home after seven years imprisoned for the murder of his wife.
"Grey's Anatomy" 8 p.m. ABC — Maggie and Jackson are enjoying spending time together, but he must turn his concentration toward the groundbreaking vaginoplasty surgery he has scheduled with Catherine and Richard.
"Gotham" 8 p.m. Fox — Bullock and Gordon try to track down someone who is key in Sofia's control over Gotham.
"RuPaul's Drag Race" 8 p.m. VH1 (11th season debut) — Christina Aguilera stunts on the mainstage.
"Braxton Family Values" 9 p.m. WE (sixth season debut) — The Braxtons are stunned by news of Tamar's divorce filing.
"Station 19" 9 p.m. ABC (new series) — When the team responds to an apartment fire, Capt. Pruitt takes a hit, the future of the station's leadership is in jeopardy and firefighter Andy Herrera is forced to step up.
"Chicago Fire" 9 p.m. NBC (special time) — Did NBC reschedule this against the new ABC series on purpose? Of course! After responding to a car accident, Casey and Dawson become skeptical when a domineering husband continues to answer for his injured wife.
"Atlanta" 10 p.m. FX — People act differently outside the city, so going to Marietta isn't really an option.
"60 Days In" 10 p.m. A&E (fourth season finale) — The participants sit down with journalist Soledad O'Brien and Colonel Mark Adger to discuss their experiences at the Fulton County Jail.
"Portlandia" 10 p.m. IFC (series finale) — The mayor cuts deals all over town to secure the perfect route for the Portland Marathon; Fred and Carrie decide to run to break their addiction to news alerts; Candace's house guest Dolly quickly becomes her new best friend.
FRIDAY
"Alexa & Katie" 3:01 a.m. Netflix (new series) — Alexa & Katie is a multi-cam comedy about two lifelong best friends eagerly anticipating the start of their freshman year of high school.
"Roxanne, Roxanne" 3:01 a.m. Netflix — She grew up in a tough New York neighborhood in the '80s and made history with "Roxanne's Revenge." The story of teen battle rap champ Roxanne Shante. (Full disclosure: my cousin Michael Y. Chow executive produced this so I'm going to give him some love. Congrats cuz!)
"Santa Clarita Diet" 3:01 a.m. Netflix (second season debut) — Is there a cure for Sheila's ravenous "diet'?
"Blindspot" 8 p.m. NBC — A CIA source threatens to tear the team apart. Rich's place in the FBI is called into question.
"Dynasty" 8 p.m. the CW — In the wake of a sudden Carrington death, Blake's temper pushes Cristal to make a bold decision regarding their marriage.
"Masterchef Junior" 8 p.m. Fox — The Top 20 prepare lunch service for a wedding of 75 guests.
"Taken" 9 p.m. NBC — Hart takes a solo mission to track down the mentor who betrayed her, and the team tries to locate her before it's too late.
WEEKEND
"The 2018 Kids Choice Awards" 8 tonight Nickelodeon — John Cena hosts this annual slimefest.
"Instinct" 8 p.m. Sunday CBS — Although Dylan has returned to teaching, Lizzie calls upon his expertise with profiling sociopaths to assist with a bizarre case in which a venture capitalist was murdered and his body ritualistically displayed.
"Call the Midwife" 8 p.m. Sunday GPB (seventh season debut) — Lucille, two days late due to the snow and ill, is called from her sick bed to assist with a breech birth.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" 8 p.m. Sund ay Bravo — The penultimate episode of the season before an explosive reunion.
"American Dynasties: The Kennedys" 9 p.m. Sunday CNN — A confident, popular John F. Kennedy is sworn in as the youngest ever elected American president.
"The Royals" 10 p.m. Sunday E! — Liam makes a big move with the evidence he has on Robert; Eleanor uses her status to help others; and Helena finds herself at the center of a new scandal.
