Did you notice #InductJanet trending on Twitter this morning?

The hashtag was apparently started by fans of Janet Jackson who want the singer to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

A Facebook page and Twitter account titled "Induct Janet," is encouraging fans to tweet the hashtag at 8 p.m. EST on April 30 when HBO airs the 2016 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The ceremony occurred on April 8.

ExploreCheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, N.W.A. and Steve Miller were inducted this year. 

The hashtag might have started to trend a day early as a result of Jackson tweeting this:
