Jimmy Fallon isn’t much of an interviewer, but never underestimate his ability to get even the biggest celebs to engage in their silly sides.

Madonna visited Fallon's "Tonight Show" Thursday and she and the crew of Fallon and The Roots recreated “Holiday” using children’s instruments.

It's a bit Fallon has done with other acts – One Direction, Mariah Carey, etc. – and as goofy as it is, it's still a joy to watch.

By the way, anyone else hear a lot of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” in those opening notes?

A pants-less Madonna also made her stand-up comedy debut on the show (in one of the most awkwardly obvious setups ever). Take a look:
