Third Day is saying goodbye with one final summer tour.

The Christian rockers, based in Atlanta , will end their 25-year career with the aptly titled "Farewell Tour," which launches May 31 in Seattle.

The guys – singer Mac Powell, guitarist Mark Lee and drummer David Carr - will play their hometown goodbye at 7:30 p.m. June 16 at the Fox Theatre. VIP pre-sale tickets will go on sale at noon March 7 (click here for more info on the VIP program) and tickets to the general public will be available at 10 a.m. March 9 via www.foxtheatre.org, the venue box office and by calling 1-855-285-8499. Prices are TBA.

The group, which has scored more than 30 No. 1 Christian radio hits throughout its career, will draw from that catalog. Fans will also hear new material from Powell and the Family Reunion and new music from Lee, as well as stories from his book, “Hurt Road.” A special guest artist is slated for each show as well.

The live show has been the core fan experience, and this tour will give us an opportunity to go out and say thank you to the fans who have always been so supportive of our music,” Powell said in a statement.

Added Lee, “These last twenty-five years of Third Day have been an amazing ride that we never in our wildest dreams thought we would experience. We know this is a season that is coming to a close, and we wanted to give our fans one more chance to see us perform live.”
