The Who will return to Atlanta for the first time since 2015 with a stop on their “Moving On!” tour this fall.
The iconic rockers will pair with orchestras around the country to bring a symphonic bent to their material, which they will perform at State Farm Arena at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18. Tickets are $67-$308 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 18 via www.ticketmaster.com and www.livenation.com. Tickets through the band's fan club will be available from 10 a.m. Jan. 16 through 10 p.m. Jan. 17.
Joining singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend is the familiar lineup of guitarist/singer Simon Townshend, bassist Jon Button, keyboardist Loren Gold and drummer Zak Starkey. This is the band’s first return to the U.S. since a 2017 residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The Who will also unveil their first album of new material in 13 years later this year. Every pair of concert tickets purchased will include a code to redeem for a CD copy of the album upon its release. As well, $1 from each ticket sold for the tour will benefit Teen Cancer America.
