The Lumineers have canceled all of the May and June tour dates, which included a May 30 performance at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood.

Fans will have the option of a full refund or a credit for 150 percent of the purchased price (the number of tickets originally purchased will also be donated to health care workers). If no action is taken, the ticket will be automatically refunded after 30 days. Visit livenation.com/refund for more details.

Of their “III: The World Tour,” The Lumineers said in a statement that they are disappointed about the lost dates, but look forward to connecting with fans online.

"Thank you for your patience and continued support during this unprecedented time of uncertainty,” they said. “We've been so inspired by your enthusiasm and generosity.”

Some of the other canceled cities include Jacksonville, Charlotte, Tampa and Raleigh.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
