The United State Air Force Academy Band will kick off the 2019 concert season at The Fred with a free concert on April 7.

The Peachtree City amphitheater – formally known as Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater – will host the band at 3 p.m. (gates at 2 p.m.) for a family-friendly show expected to include patriotic songs, traditional marches and Broadway classics. A ticket is not required for admission.

Other new shows on the upcoming docket include Air Supply, who will bring their chart-topping soft rock to the venue at 8 p.m. April 13. The duo of Graham Russell and Marietta resident Russell Hitchcock have played Atlanta several times since 2015, which marked their first show in the area in nearly 20 years.

And original Styx vocalist Dennis DeYoung will perform "The Grand Illusion" in its entirety for the 40th anniversary celebration of the 1977 classic. The singer, who tours as Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx, will also infuse the May 17 show with other Styx favorites, such as "Renegade" and "Mr. Roboto."

Series renewal packages for all shows at The Fred will go on sale March 7, with individual tickets available March 19. Visit www.amphitheater.org/ for more details.
