The MTV Video Music Awards are less than a week away and the only confirmed performer announced by the network is The Weeknd.
But now we also know that Taylor Swift will unveil the video for the fifth single from her “1989” album, “Wildest Dreams,” during the ceremony. The video will debut during the pre-show, which begins at 8 p.m.
On Sunday night, Swift shared the news in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it teaser clip on her Twitter account.
The website HollywoodLife.com reports that Swift – the most nominated artist of the ceremony this year with nine nods – is planning a live performance with pal Selena Gomez and Bruno Mars. Kendrick Lamar is also reportedly set to perform.
The VMAs will air Sunday on MTV at 9 p.m. with chaste, low-key host Miley Cyrus.
