Rebelution returns to the Tabernacle

Rebelution has had a very busy 2016.

The reggae band performed at the SweetWater 420 Fest back in April, released its 5th album "Falling Into Place" in June and just kicked off a 22-city tour to promote said new record. The band's tour just happens to bring the four-piece back to Atlanta for round two.

The group will perform at the Tabernacle on Monday, Oct. 31. Doors open at 7:30 and music should begin at 8:30 p.m. General admission tickets cost $25.

Hailing from Isla Vista, Cal., Rebelution has found success melding a traditional reggae sound with rock and even ska elements.

If the band's Spotify account is to be believed, the group's two most popular songs, by an 8 million-play margin, are "Ordinary Girl" and "Feeling Alright." Both tracks are from the group's first album, "Courage To Grow," which was released in 2007.

Fellow reggae act HIRIE will open the night, and she and her band will be on the road touring with Rebelution through every stop. HIRIE also released a new album last August titled "Wandering Soul."
