Soulja Boy is in trouble with the law again.

The Atlanta-bred rapper was arrested at his home in Los Angeles on Thursday for probation violation.

Soulja Boy (legally known as De’Andre Way) was reportedly threatening people online with guns, which prompted the Los Angeles Police Department to pay him a visit and search his house.

According to ABC7.com in Los Angeles, a firearm was recovered from the home.

The rapper, who earned a Grammy nomination in 2008 for his hit novelty song, “Soulja Boy Tell’em – Crank That,” has been on probation since December 2014 after he was arrested in California for possession of a loaded firearm.

Soulja Boy's other skirmishes in recent years include an arrest in Temple, Ga., in 2011 on drug and weapons charges. In 2013, he was booted off an American Airlines flight for not complying with flight attendants' directions. That same year, a Buckhead jeweler sued the rapper for $60,000, claiming he refused to pay his outstanding debt.

Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty, a friend-turned-foe of Soulja Boy , posted a snarky tweet regarding the arrest.
