It’s time for another round of Queen + Adam Lambert - and this time, Atlanta is on the docket.

A 23-date arena tour will kick off in July in Vancouver and wind its way to Atlanta near the end of the run on Aug. 22 at State Farm Arena.

Tickets for the show will go on sale at noon Dec. 7 via www.ticketmaster.com. A fan club pre-sale will commence at 10 a.m. Dec. 6. Ticket prices are $59.50-$195.

The partnership between the versatile Lambert and original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor – has been a fruitful one. The musicians met when Queen performed with Lambert – then an “American Idol” contestant – on the 2009 finale of the show. Occasional performances began in 2011 and in 2014 came the first Queen + Adam Lambert world tour.

The continued success of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” the story of Queen and its inimitable frontman Freddie Mercury, has, obviously, re-ignited interest in the band’s music.

The six-week tour will include a new stage production that Lambert said will “reframe these iconic songs.”
