The eighth installment of the One MusicFest will spotlight a lineup including Jill Scott, Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def), Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Sean Paul, Jidenna, Kaytranada, Too Short, Tank and the Bangas.

The annual musical gathering will kick off at noon Sept. 9 at Lakewood Amphitheatre. Tickets are on sale now for $65-$155 (note that tickets for the pit in front of the main stage are general admission and that there is no assigned seating anywhere other than the main stage). Visit www.onemusicfest.com for specific ticket details.

A highlight of this year's fest is that it is expected to be the final performance for Yasiin Bey. Last year the artist announced he was playing his final shows this past December and January in New York and Washington D.C., but apparently had a change of heart.

Fans can get into the One MusicFest groove the night before with a series of performances at the Tabernacle. Thundercat, J.I.D, Ari Lennox and Noname have been announced, with more artists expected to be added. The show begins at 8 p.m. Sept. 8. To purchase tickets, add the Saturday One MusicFest ticket to your shopping cart at www.livenation.com and then select the Friday concert as an add on.

The 2016 One MusicFest sold-out quickly with a lineup that boasted an Outkast reunion, Killer Mike, CeeLo Green, Ice Cube and Andra Day.
