Music Midtown will return to its usual location this fall.

The annual festival will take place Sept. 14-15 at Piedmont Park, its home since returning in 2011.

Early bird tickets can be purchased now for $140 (for both days of music) at www.musicmidtown.com. The lineup isn't typically announced until early summer.

Last year's event featured headliners Post Malone, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy and Kendrick Lamar, along with sets from a diverse lineup including Kacey Musgraves, Khalid, Maggie Rogers, Janelle Monae, Butch Walker, The Revivalists and Thirty Seconds to Mars.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
