The already-hefty lineup for the Nov. 12 Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute show at the Fox Theatre just got a bit bigger.
O.A.R., Randy Houser and Al Kooper, the legendary musician-producer who discovered Skynyrd, are now part of "One More for the Fans! Celebrating the Songs & Music of Lynyrd Skynyrd."
The concert will also feature the previously announced Alabama, Gregg Allman, Charlie Daniels, Peter Frampton, Cheap Trick, John Hiatt, Jason Isbell, Robert Randolph, Donnie Van Zandt, Blackberry Smoke, Trace Adkins, Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, moe., Gov't Mule and Aaron Lewis, along with the band being honored.
As with the Gregg Allman tribute show earlier this year at the Fox, the great Don Was will serve as music director and lead a band that will include guitar maestro Steve Lukather.
Also similar to the Allman production, Keith Wortman is the creator and executive producer of the event, which is being filmed for multi-platform distribution.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. concert are $72-$222. They can be purchased at the Fox box office, www.foxtheatre.org or by calling 1-855-285-8499.
