If you've been having music festival withdrawal in the wake of the Shaky Knees, Shaky Boots and CounterPoint festivals and don't think you can hold out until Music Midtown in September, a mini road trip might be in order this weekend.

The inaugural Sloss Fest is set to take place in at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, Ala. July 18-19 and will feature more than 30 acts acts including Modest Mouse, Cage the Elephant, Band of Horses, The Avett Brothers, Primus and St. Paul & the Broken Bones, who opened for The Rolling Stones during their Atlanta tour stop in June. The event will also highlight regional craft beer and craft cocktail scene.

Two-day general admission, VIP and Iron passes are also on sale now. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster and online at SlossFest.com
