The revamp of MTV's "TRL" will debut with performances from Ed Sheeran and Atlanta rappers Migos.

A pop culture phenomenon in the late-'90s, the live show will return at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 2, beaming in from MTV's newly expanded Times Square studio. The new "TRL," which turned Carson Daly into a star, will be hosted by rapper/Internet personality D.C. Young Fly and the "TRL Squad" of Tamara Dhia, Amy Pham, Erik Zachary and Lawrence Jackson.

The TV version of “TRL” will be the focus of the reboot, but real-time clips, short-form videos and blog posts will be distributed across digital platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram. An official “TRL” show on Musical.ly will also air on Mondays and Thursdays.

Migos, the “Bad and Boujee” phenoms, released their second album, the platinum-certified “Culture,” in January.

Sheeran, who in August played a pair of sold-out shows at Infinite Energy Arena , just announced a 2018 stadium tour with a date slated for Atlanta in November.
