"I don't sing and I don't actively write very much, so this is a really interesting thing because your proverbial you-know-whats are on the line."
So said the ever-amusing Mick Fleetwood during his Tuesday night appearance at Ann Jackson Gallery in Roswell.
The towering Fleetwood Mac drummer, debonair as always in a pinstriped suit and white silk scarf despite reportedly suffering from a 103-degree fever, bounded into Atlanta a day before the Mac plays a sold-out show at Philips Arena to talk about his other passion - photography.

Fleetwood discussed his art and his delight at this current Fleetwood Mac tour, which includes keyboardist/singer Christine McVie for the first time in 16 years, in a recent interview with the AJC.
But on Tuesday, a happy-to-chat Fleetwood delighted the crowd of about 100 curiosity-seekers and serious art lovers with some background about his photos, which are on display at the gallery through Dec. 21.
First, though, Fleetwood made a wry joke about the intense rush-hour traffic that caused a later-than-planned arrival at the gallery and, moments after initially addressing the assembled fans, laughed and exclaimed, "My fly is undone!"
That business tended to, Fleetwood explained that, "A few years back, someone took an interest in my pictures and persuaded me to show some of (them)...One of the things I remember, this all came from me just having fun, doing something creative."
Fleetwood's images - some of which can be seen here -- showcase nature, antique cars, swans and other topics of beauty from his homeland of England and his home of a decade-plus in Maui.
"I do have stories for almost every picture on the wall," Fleetwood said, gesturing. "It's meaningful on an almost selfish level for me."
In addition to Fleetwood Mac's concert Wednesday night, the band will return to Philips on March 25.
